This year our camp is on Monday August 20, Wednesday August 22 and Friday August 24 from 9:00-3:00 at Melanie's office at 52 Ivy Lea Place. This year's camp theme is Under the Sea and Jungle! Our days will be full of exciting things to do including songs, crafts, yoga and walk about outings to Sherwood Bowling Centre, Huntington Park outdoor wading pool and park, Highview Park Splash pad and a visit from the animals from Little Ray's Reptile Zoo!!! The baby cayman, 8 foot snake and other creatures will be coming for a hands on visit!
Each camper will be working on their individual speech and language goals within our themes as well as generalizing their skills to different environments, peers and clinicians. We will have plenty of hands-on help from several experienced Speech and Language Assistants and volunteers to ensure an enriching, fun and safe camp experience!
Cost: $180 per day (for 6 hours)
or
$500 for the week (three days/18 hours, a savings of $40)
Since this is a speech language camp it may be partly covered under your extended healthcare benefits or the Ontario Autism Program since Melanie Hamilton is running it.
